Start in closed position, M firmly holding W tightly with M's R hand cupped over W's R shoulder blade, strong frames for both.
s, s: M steps fwd. and making 1/2 R pivot across W's front on 2nd 's.' Both lean back, with combined center of gravity over M's R foot to start. Now backing LoD.
q, q: Stepping in LoD R-L, M pivots 1/2 turn R bringing W with him as she steps in with his feet. Now facing LoD.
q, q: Stepping in LoD R-L, M pivots 1/2 turn R bringing W with him as she steps in with his feet. Now backing LoD.
s, s: M backwards L-R in LoD. On second s, M pivots 1/2 L
q, q, s: Stepping forward in LoD, Tango close relaxing tight grip on W.
M's Heel-Spin
SSqqS: Get into open position. Last "S" is only a point.
SSqq: First "S" weights M's pointing L foot. Second "S" M steps across in front of W. On "qq" M pivots 1/2 R bringing R foot locked behind his L foot.
qq: M pivots 1/2 turn R while raising L heel to clear R toes. Now in face-to-face position, perpendicular to LoD.
qq: M rocks back-fwd (W fwd-back) while turning 1/2 R to resume LoD.
SqqS: On first "S" M steps L foot back then finishes on backing tango-close to his L.
